Data Collected
The private enquiry form may collect name, company, role, business email, area of interest, project stage, the message voluntarily submitted by the sender and confirmation that the Privacy Notice has been read. Standard technical server logs, which may include an IP address and request information, may also be generated by the hosting provider for security and service operation.
Purpose
Submitted data is used only to assess and respond to licensing, brand-interpretation and related business enquiries, to conduct requested pre-contractual discussions and to maintain the security and proper operation of the website. It is not used for unrelated marketing or profiling.
Legal Basis
Processing is based, as applicable, on steps taken at the sender’s request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the legitimate interest in assessing, responding to and securely administering genuine business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
The form does not create a separate enquiry database or marketing list. Submissions are delivered to the NORTHU email account and are retained only until the enquiry and any directly related follow-up have been completed, after which they are deleted, unless a longer period is required by law or is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Recipients
Data may be reviewed only by persons authorised to handle NORTHU licensing enquiries and by IONOS, solely as the hosting and email service provider. Personal data is not sold, rented or disclosed for third-party marketing.
International Transfers
NORTHU does not intentionally transfer enquiry data outside the European Economic Area. If a service provider were to process data outside the EEA, the transfer would be handled only in accordance with the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
Rights
Individuals may request access to, rectification or erasure of their personal data, restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability applies where the legal conditions are met. A complaint may also be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Privacy Contact
Privacy enquiries and requests to exercise data-protection rights may be sent to privacy@northu.eu.
The supervisory authority in Italy is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
